STRONGER TOGETHER
ACIFA is the Alberta Colleges and Institutes Faculties Association, a representative professional association that acts as the provincial voice for its members, the academic staff associations of Alberta's colleges and technical institutes. Through the collective action and resources of its members, ACIFA promotes the professional and economic well being of college and technical institute faculty in the interest of advancing the quality of post-secondary education in Alberta. Membership currently includes the Academic Staff or Faculty Associations of the 13 public post-secondary institutions from the original college sector: comprehensive community colleges, polytechnics, and Alberta University of the Arts.

ACIFA is building community, both internally and externally
ACIFA is monitoring the evolving structure and funding of PSE in Alberta, and the impact on faculty work in the context of other systemic changes, and is looking at how to support faculty through these changes
